Calgary, Alta. (February 8, 2017) – It was a great day for Canada in St. Moritz (SUI) with Erik Guay landing the 2017 super-G World Champion title and Manuel Osborne-Paradis taking home bronze. This is the first time in history two Canadian men have stood on the World Championship podium. For 35-year-old Guay, this is his second World Championship victory and first super-G World Championship title. Guay came down wearing bib 14 and lit up the TV board with green intervals all the way down.
