The Strathcona Initiative allows us to unite as a community to support organizations all around the globe. We work hard every year to aid our school’s mission of creating a better future for people everywhere. This year, we are supporting the Zebra Centre. The Zebra Centre is a local organization that is dedicated to serving children and youth who have been impacted by abuse, supporting them through the investigative, justice and healing process with a continuum of multi-disciplinary resources. The Zebra Centre was the first Child Advocacy Centre in Canada and supported 4,272 children and youth in 2022. Because the Zebra Centre exists, children don't have to go to “scary”, grown up places such as police stations and cold administrative offices. Your donations will go toward providing essentials, crisis support, facility dogs, and toys for children that come to the Zebra Centre.
