No stranger to significant alteration (be it wearer or weave), the Union Suit was first created in the 1800s in Utica, New York.

Old Forge Spring Union Suit (No. 7684). We gave our full-length Union suit a seasonal adjustment here with a shorter, mid-thigh cut. Lightweight jersey knit 100% cotton. Lined in lightweight 100% cotton sheeting. Rib-knit trim at placket, collar and sleeve openings. Complete with an authentic buttoned hatch in back and seam-enforcing flatlock stitching. Seven 2-hole fisheye buttons. Spry as loungewear and sleepwear for men or women. Imported.
