Shirts%20that%20Help%20you%20Speak%20Up%20the%20Strong%20Nasty%20Woman%20Tees%20Rerelease%20by%20Strong%20Athletic%0D%0AStrong%20Athletic%20is%20rereleasing%26nbsp%3Bthe%20Strong%20Nasty%20Woman%20shirt.%26nbsp%3BIn%202016%20Strong%20Athletic%20made%20our%20Strong%20Nasty%20Woman%20shirt%20after%20D.%20Trump%20referred%20to%20Hillary%20Clinton%20as%20a%20Nasty%20Woman%20during%20the%26nbsp%3Bthe%20final%20presidential%20debate%20on%20October%2019%2C%202016.%20Name%20calling%20by%20Trump%20had%20become%20all%20too%20common%20up%20to%20this%20point%2C%20and%20although%20we%20shouldn't%20have%20been%2C%20many%20of%20us%20were%20surprised%20when%20he%20said%20the%20words%2C%20%22such%20a%20nasty%20woman.%22%26nbsp%3B%0D%0AThe%20definition%26nbsp%3Bof%20the%20word%20nasty%20in%20the%20dictionary%20is-%26nbsp%3Bhighly%20unpleasant%2C%20especially%20to%20the%20senses%3B%20physically%20nauseating%2C%20and%20when%20referring%20to%20a%20person%20it%20is%2C%26nbsp%3Bbehaving%20in%20an%20unpleasant%20or%20spiteful%20way.%20Our%20takeaway%20from%20that%20night%20and%20then%20every%20other%20time%20Trump%20has%20referred%20to%20a%20female%20politician%20as%20%22nasty%22%20is%20that%20he%20can't%20stomach%20a%20woman%20who%20holds%20a%20political%20office%20and%20who%20in%20turn%20has%20the%20power%20to%20make%20decisions%20through%20leadership%20and%20policy%20change.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0ATo%20celebrate%20National%20Voter's%20Registration%26nbsp%3BDay%202020%2C%20we%20released%20this%20design%20on%20September%26nbsp%3B22%2C%202022%20along%20side%20our%20Strong%20Athletic%20Voter%20shirts%20as%20our%20way%20of%20celebrating%20the%20power%20of%20going%20to%20the%20polls%20and%20using%20our%20vote%20to%20affect%20change.%26nbsp%3BVoting%20is%20one%20method%20that%20the%20majority%20of%20US%20citizens%20can%20use%20to%20change%20their%20country.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0AAs%20athletes%20we%20can't%20simply%20focus%20on%20our%20sport%20and%20nothing%20else.%20It's%20important%20that%20we%20pay%20attention%20to%20what%20is%20going%20on%20in%20our%20city%2C%20our%20county%2C%20our%20state%20and%20in%20our%20country.%20Strong%20Athletic%20made%20this%20design%20and%20our%20SA%20Voter%20shirts%20because%20we%20want%20the%20athletes%20who%20are%20part%20of%20our%20community%20to%20be%20able%20to%20speak%20up%20about%20the%20importance%20of%20voting.%20Not%20everyone%20in%20the%20US%20has%20the%20privilege%20of%20voting%2C%20so%20for%20those%20people%20who%20do%2C%20it's%20so%20important%20to%20show%20up%20for%20elections%20and%20make%20an%20impact.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A50%25%20of%20the%20profits%20from%20this%20shirt%20were%20donated%20directly%20to%26nbsp%3Bthe%20NAACP's%20Black%20Voices%20Change%20Lives%20campaign.%20We%20pre-donated%20in%20advance%2C%20so%20even%20if%20you%20buy%20a%20shirt%20now%2C%2050%25%20of%20the%20profits%20were%20donated%20in%202020.%20The%20total%20amount%20donated%20was%20%24360%2C%20with%20a%20portion%20of%20the%20donations%20coming%20from%20the%26nbsp%3BStrong%20Athletic%20Voter%26nbsp%3Bshirt%20sales.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0AAre%20you%20registered%20to%20vote%3F%20Do%20you%20need%20to%20register%20to%20vote%3F%20Visit%26nbsp%3Bhttps%3A%2F%2Fiwillvote.com%2F%26nbsp%3Bto%20learn%20more%20about%20how%20to%20register%20in%20your%20state.%0D%0AWhy%20do%20the%20Nasty%20Woman%20shirts%20cost%20%2433%3F%0D%0AWe%20know%20that%20there%20are%20a%20few%20companies%20that%20made%20%22nasty%20woman%22%20shirts%20in%202016%20and%20who%20have%20continued%20to%20make%20them.%20One%20thing%20we%20notice%20is%20that%20our%20shirts%20are%20usually%20about%20%245-%2410%20more%20expensive%20than%20the%20other%20shirts%20on%20the%20market.%20Ever%20wonder%20why%20there%20is%20such%20a%20price%20difference%3F%20There's%20a%20good%20chance%20that%20some%20of%20those%20companies%20are%20simply%20producing%20more%20shirts%2C%20faster%2C%20and%20so%20their%20overhead%20costs%20are%20lower.%20We%20can't%20speak%20for%20them%20and%20how%20they%20set%20their%20prices%2C%20but%20we%20can%20speak%20for%20ourselves.%26nbsp%3BAt%20Strong%20Athletic%2C%20we%20only%20use%20small-scale%20screen%20printers%20and%20the%20garments%20that%20we%20print%20on%20are%20always%20made%20in%20W.A.R.P.%20Certified%20facilities.%20We%20also%20pay%20all%20of%20our%20contract%20employees%20a%20pay%20rate%20that%20is%20in%20line%20with%20living%20wage%20standards.%20We%20also%20have%20many%20of%20our%20shirts%20associated%20with%20a%20non-profit%20and%20we%20donate%20a%20portion%20of%20profits%20(sometimes%20100%25%20of%20profits)%20to%20causes%20that%20hold%20dear.%20In%20the%20case%20of%20this%20shirt%2C%20as%20mentioned%20above%2050%25%20of%20profits%20were%20donated.%20We%20believe%20that%20when%20products%20are%20cheap%2C%20someone%20is%20losing%20out%20on%20income.%20We%20don't%20want%20those%20people%20to%20be%20anyone%20involved%20in%20our%20supply%20chain%20or%20who%20work%20for%20Strong%20Athletic%20on%20a%20daily%20basis.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0AAbout%20the%20Production%20of%20this%20Strong%20Athletic%20Shirt%26nbsp%3B%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0AEvery%20single%20Strong%20Athletic%20shirt%20is%20printed%20by%20a%20small-scale%2C%20local%20screen%20printer.%20The%20majority%20of%20our%20shirts%20are%20printed%20by%20Amanda%20in%20Austin%2C%20Texas%20who%20prints%20out%20of%20the%20Austin%20Screen%20Printer's%20Coop%2C%20a%20screen%20printing%20shop%20that%20is%20member%20owned%20and%20run%20in%20East%20Austin.%20When%20our%20shirts%20are%20not%20printed%20by%20Amanda%20they%20are%20printed%20by%20other%20small-scale%20screen%20printers%20such%20as%20Second%20Avenues%20Ink%20in%20Portland%2C%20Oregon%20or%20Leigh%20Valley%20Apparel%20Creations%20in%20Pennsylvania.%20As%20mentioned%20above%2C%20the%20art%20for%20this%20design%20was%20created%20by%20Cristen%20Perks%20in%202013%20for%20Strong%20Athletic%20founder%20Nadia%20Kean.%20The%20Strong%20Athletic%20logo%20was%20created%20by%20Angel%20Ortega%20in%202015%2C%20until%20that%20point%20our%20shirts%20had%20the%20Get%20Smarty%20Coaching%20logo%20on%20them.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%0D%0AEvery%20Strong%20Athletic%20Shirt%20comes%20wrapped%20in%20our%20signature%20%22You%20are%20so%20Strong%22%20wraps%20which%20are%20held%20together%20with%20a%20kraft%20Strong%20Athletic%20sticker.%20Each%20shirt%20is%20then%20packaged%20in%20a%20biodegradable%20kraft%20mailer%20that%20we%20get%20from%20a%20US%20based%20company%20called%20EcoEnclose.%20We%20include%20a%20postcard%20that%20shares%20the%20origin%20story%20of%20Strong%20Athletic%20and%20that%20is%20addressed%20by%20hand%20to%20the%20person%20receiving%20the%20shirt.%20Also%20included%20in%20every%20package%20is%20a%20Strong%20Athletic%20logo%20sticker%20and%20one%20of%20our%20%22We%20Believe%22%20stickers.%20Every%20time%20you%20open%20a%20package%20from%20Strong%20Athletic%20we%20want%20it%20to%20feel%20special%2C%20especially%20if%20you're%20sending%20the%20Strong%20Athletic%20shirt%20as%20a%20gift.%26nbsp%3B%0D%0A%26nbsp%3B%26nbsp%3B
